1. Adhesive: Single-component adhesive is generally handled by a single-component potting machine. For double-component adhesive, a dual-component potting machine is required. The viscosity of the adhesive should be within a certain range that the potting machine can handle. Some adhesives have higher viscosity, which may require the use of a different metering pump.

2、Workmanship: A semi-automated potting machine (such as a foot-operated control) is suitable for relatively simple and accurate workmanship. For more complex workmanship, a table, three-axis, or circle type automatic potting machine with automated features is preferable.

3、Product output and production efficiency: If the output is small or the product requirements are not high, manual glue guns are appropriate. Outdoor work is also appropriate for glue guns. If accuracy is required, a machine with automatic features is preferable.

4、Seasonal changes in temperature: The effect of temperature on potting machines is significant. When the temperature is low in the winter, the flow of the adhesive in the bucket may be affected, which can affect the efficiency and quality of the potting operation. In this case, heating features are required.
