How to solve the problem of wire drawing when using a glue dispenser? Some products require high viscosity glue due to their high process requirements. Due to the high viscosity, there may be wire drawing during the dispensing process, which not only affects quality but also affects aesthetics. When faced with glue wire drawing, you should learn the following techniques.

1. Glue opening delay. When opening the glue head, there is a distance between the glue outlet and the glue valve, and there is no glue between them. If the output port of the glue head is opened and the movement starts immediately, it will cause a small segment of the trajectory to lack glue. To prevent this situation, after opening the glue, delay for a period of time, wait for the glue to flow out, and then execute the visual dispensing machine’s continuous movement. This delay time is called glue opening delay.

2. Delay in closing the glue. After closing the glue head, there is still glue not flowing completely between the glue outlet and the glue valve. If the glue head moves immediately after closing, it may form a phenomenon of glue dragging. To prevent this, after closing the glue head, delay for a period of time until the glue flows completely before executing subsequent actions. This delay time is called glue closing delay.

3. Wire drawing height: Due to the high viscosity of certain adhesives, the automatic glue filling machine can slowly lift the glue wire at a constant speed for a certain distance to break it, without affecting the glue coating trajectory. This distance is called wire drawing height.

4. Lift up height: When a segment of the trajectory dispensing is completed, the automatic glue filling machine moves to the starting point of the next trajectory. In order to prevent the glue head from hitting the needle, lift the glue head up a certain height at the end point to ensure the safety of the glue head from hitting the needle, and then move it to the starting point of the next trajectory. This height is called the lift up height.

Simply replacing a larger needle can solve this problem, and the conical inclined needle produces less back pressure, The liquid flows smoothly.
